Foundation for American Literary Development (FFALD) is a non-profit youth led organization founded by Literary Scholars on the 11th April 2006 to promote Educational and Cultural linkages between America and Sierra Leone; thereby providing student exchange, youth exchange programs and humanitarian aid to extreme poor families in Sierra Leone.
FFALD keeps its financial focus on exchange programs with only 4% of its total expenses going to administrative cost. FFALD seeks to bring together people from around the world to connect with literary experts, social development analysts and multicultural educationists for mutual and better understanding, cultural and educational exchange programs and more.
FFALD is one of the most exclusive and high-demand student-run conferences in the world. It is unique among its peers in that it offers real opportunities to students.
Above all, FFALD hopes to foster a greater sense of exchange community among the world’s young people, through multicultural programs, with a view toward a better tomorrow.
