iLive2Lead is seeking 25 exceptional young people to join us in Nantong, China for an international environmental Summit for youth leaders from 12-18 August 2012. The Government of the People's Republic of China has requested iL2L to lead this summit and will be hosting the event.
All costs, EXCEPT AIRFARE, are covered for the week-long training in Nantong on the Yangtze River (one hour north of Shanghai).
Young women and men, age 16-21, are encouraged to apply.
The Summit will focus on developing leadership skills for the most challenging issue the next generation must face: environmental sustainability. International experts on the environment will serve as speakers, and participants will visit local green technology projects and learn the project management skills to develop and implement their own environmental project. The curriculum includes an exploration of the key issues that critically affect the environment – and participants will have the unique opportunity to interact with their Chinese peers and explore these issues within the Chinese context.
